("Jordy", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you visit our website at hirejordy.com, use our platform, or otherwise interact with our services (collectively, the "Services"). Please read this policy carefully. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of the Services immediately.

This policy is written to comply with applicable data protection legislation including, without limitation, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and equivalent applicable laws in jurisdictions where we operate.

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you:

  • Register for an account or join our waitlist
  • Subscribe to any paid plan or initiate a free trial
  • Connect third-party accounts (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, email accounts) to the Services
  • Communicate with us via email, support channels, or our iMessage-based interface
  • Respond to surveys, feedback requests, or promotional communications

The categories of personal data collected include: your full name, email address, billing address, payment card information (processed by our third-party payment processor and not stored on our servers), company name, job title, LinkedIn profile URL, X/Twitter handle, phone number, and any other information you choose to submit.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you access or use the Services, we automatically collect certain technical and usage data, including:

  • IP address, browser type, browser version, and operating system
  • Referring URLs and pages visited within the Services
  • Device identifiers and session identifiers
  • Date and time stamps of your interactions
  • Clickstream data and feature usage patterns
  • Log data generated by our servers in response to your requests

We collect this information using cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, and similar tracking technologies. Please see Section 9 for more detail.

1.3 Information From Third-Party Integrations

When you authorise Jordy to connect to third-party platforms (including LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Google, and email service providers), we receive data from those platforms in accordance with your authorisation and their respective terms of service. This data may include:

  • Your public profile information on those platforms
  • Contact and network data necessary to execute outreach campaigns on your behalf
  • Message delivery status and engagement metrics from campaigns Jordy operates on your behalf

We use this third-party data solely to provide and improve the Services and do not sell it to third parties. Your continued connection to any third-party integration constitutes your ongoing consent to receive and process data from those platforms for the purposes described in this policy.

1.4 Data Processed on Your Behalf (Prospect Data)

In providing the Services, Jordy processes data about third parties (your prospects and leads) on your behalf. This includes names, job titles, company information, LinkedIn profile data, email addresses, and engagement signals sourced from public platforms or uploaded by you. For the purposes of applicable data protection law, you are the data controller of this prospect data and Jordy acts as a data processor. Our processing of prospect data is governed by our Data Processing Agreement, available upon request at legal@hirejordy.com.


We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Providing, operating, and maintaining the Services
  • Processing transactions and sending related information including purchase confirmations and invoices
  • Executing outreach campaigns, posting content, and performing automation tasks on your behalf as instructed
  • Personalising and improving your experience with the Services
  • Sending administrative communications including technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support messages
  • Sending marketing communications, where you have consented or where permitted by applicable law, with an easy mechanism to opt out
  • Monitoring and analysing usage trends to improve functionality and user experience
  • Detecting, investigating, and preventing fraudulent transactions, abuse, and other illegal activities
  • Complying with our legal obligations under applicable law
  • Enforcing our Terms of Service and other agreements

Where we rely on legitimate interests as the legal basis for processing, those interests are: providing a secure and functional service, preventing fraud, understanding how users interact with the platform, and communicating information relevant to your account.


If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:

  • Contract performance: Processing necessary to deliver the Services you have subscribed to
  • Legal obligation: Processing necessary to comply with applicable law
  • Legitimate interests: Processing for our legitimate business interests where not overridden by your rights
  • Consent: Where you have given explicit consent, including for marketing communications and certain cookie uses

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. We may disclose your information in the following circumstances:

4.1 Service Providers

We share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Services, including:

  • Payment processors (e.g., Stripe) for billing and subscription management
  • Cloud infrastructure providers for data storage and processing
  • Email delivery services for transactional and marketing communications
  • Analytics providers for usage analysis and performance monitoring
  • Customer support tools for ticket management and user communication

All service providers are contractually required to protect your information and are prohibited from using it for any purpose other than providing services to us.

4.2 LinkedIn and Platform APIs

To operate outreach campaigns and content posting on your behalf, Jordy communicates with LinkedIn, X/Twitter, and other connected platforms via their respective APIs. Data transmitted through these channels is governed by those platforms' own privacy policies in addition to this policy.

4.3 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganisation, bankruptcy, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or prominent notice before your information becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.

4.4 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights or property, prevent or investigate wrongdoing, protect the personal safety of users, or protect against legal liability.

4.5 With Your Consent

We may share your information for any other purpose with your explicit consent.


We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law:

  • Account and subscription data: retained for the duration of your subscription and up to seven (7) years thereafter
  • Campaign and outreach data: retained for up to three (3) years following the conclusion of the relevant campaign
  • Support and communication records: retained for up to two (2) years
  • Usage and log data: retained for up to twelve (12) months

Upon expiry of the applicable retention period, we securely delete or anonymise your personal data. You may request earlier deletion as described in Section 7.


We implement and maintain commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information. These measures include:

  • Encryption of data in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher
  • Encryption of sensitive data at rest
  • Access controls limiting data access to authorised personnel on a need-to-know basis
  • Regular security assessments and penetration testing
  • Incident response procedures for detecting, containing, and reporting security events

Despite these measures, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach likely to result in a high risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify you and, where required, the relevant supervisory authority, within the timeframes prescribed by applicable law.


Depending on your location, you may have the following rights with respect to your personal information:

  • Right of access: Obtain a copy of your personal data and information about how it is processed
  • Right to rectification: Have inaccurate or incomplete personal data corrected
  • Right to erasure: Request deletion of your personal data in certain circumstances
  • Right to restriction of processing: Request that we restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances
  • Right to data portability: Receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format
  • Right to object: Object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing
  • Right to withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent, withdraw consent at any time
  • Right not to be subject to automated decision-making: Not be subject to solely automated decisions that produce significant effects on you

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA including the right to know what personal information is collected, used, shared, or sold; the right to delete personal information; the right to opt out of sale (we do not sell personal information); and the right to non-discrimination.

To exercise any of these rights, submit a request to privacy@hirejordy.com. We will respond within 30 days. We may require verification of your identity before processing your request.


Jordy operates globally. Your personal information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland and we transfer your data to a third country, we rely on European Commission adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), or other lawful transfer mechanisms. You may request a copy of the applicable transfer safeguards by contacting privacy@hirejordy.com.


We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect and use information about you and your interactions with the Services. The categories of cookies we use include:

  • Strictly necessary cookies: Required for the Services to function and cannot be switched off
  • Performance and analytics cookies: Help us understand how users interact with the Services
  • Functional cookies: Enable enhanced functionality and personalisation

The Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. The Services may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, or services that are not owned or controlled by Jordy. This Privacy Policy applies only to the Services. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access.


We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the effective date at the top of this policy and, where required by applicable law, by providing additional notice such as an in-app notification or email. Your continued use of the Services following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
